Foolproof security arrangements have been made in connection with the 5th death anniversary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto to be observed here on Thursday. More than 6,000 police officials and jawans have been deployed in Garhi Khuda Bux where people from across the country will attend Fateha Khawani and visit the Mazaar of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Shaheed.

A government official told APP that elaborated security measures have been made and some 6,000 policemen have been detailed for vigilance and security. Besides, more than 500 Rangers and commandos will perform their duties. In order to monitor the situation, some 55 secret cameras are also being installed. Four control rooms have been set up to be manned by police officials to convey moment to moment activities to main control room.

In order to guide the women visitors some 2,000 women police officers and personnel will also be present on duty. In order to ensure better security, walk-through gates have been installed at the entrances of the Mazaar. Special traffic arrangements are also in place to ensure smooth flow of traffic and traffic signs have been installed throughout Larkana. In order to maintain traffic movement, a route map has also been prepared.
